Central Africa has very high rainfall so water is not really

Thank you Mr Equine Man.
Absence of education and medical care are, I think, also contributing factors.

I think I read somewhere that this has been tried and rejected. Possibly on the grounds of their religious beliefs.

Hi

If you live in a subsistence economy with no Pension children are essential to provide for your old age.

Quite so, Besoeker! In SA free condoms have been avaiable
for some time now, but progress is slow, as mothers are
able to claim benifits for children, so not much incentive to
use them?
By the way, l think equine is a little aristocratic for me?

Best Regards Donkeyman!

Also google "Rat Utopia".
For the men maybe. Then they bugger off and leave the mother to worry about feeding the babies.

Although I agree that lack of education is a big factor, it doesn't require much brain power to work out if there's not enough food or water to feed your kids.

A thing l have a problem understanding is the fact that the
hunter- gatherer tribes can and do control their birth rate by
natural means so they stay in balance with their enviroment!
This phenomena is evident on all the continents and is
not peculiar to any area on the planet?
These people follow the seasons and hence the wild life
migrations over large distances for their sustenence, and are
thus considered a nuisance by settler farmers world wide!
My question is, why cant more settled populations control
themselves the same way?
Also, when nomadic people are eventually contained in
so called resrvations they start to overbreed and generally
decline socially as well?

Regards Donkeyman!
