Of course they do. We all do all the time in one way or another..viz.."Oh sorry I'm late..I just ran out of time!"..when the reality is we don't run out of time. We all have the same amount: 24 hours each day.. If we didn't try to find excuses and rationalising our behaviour, we would be taking responsibility for everything and go crazy in record time. Excuse finding is basic human social behaviour. Psych 101. Facts have nothing to do with it. Regardless of the veracity of the excuse, it's about self defence.20-12-2019, 07:41 AM
