Re: Bored with turkey?

With my wrist not yet being healed I have abandoned traditional Christmas. There will only be my sister and I for lunch so we are having T bone steaks, with all the trimmings, and the cats are having a small chicken!

Re: Bored with turkey?

Goose, Turkey and Ham here with at least 3 different stuffings and all the trmmings

It sounds a lot for just 3 of us but I cook up a storm on Christmas Day then I don’t properly cook again till the new year as we use up everything. All I might need to cook is veg and spuds

No Way! Christmas dinner with all the trimmings is probably my favourite meal of the year, and with all the vitamins and minerals your body will thank you for it....Vegetarians.......Get some proper food!....

Turkey in this House.

A bit strange dishing up Nut Roast as the English Xmas Dinner, as most of English people eat meat.

Some of them I would try.

Re: Bored with turkey?

We have turkey for Thanksgiving in the U.S. So Christmas day is normally a Christmas brunch and this Christmas Eve we're having brown sugar spiral baked ham, mashed potatoes, fresh green beans cooked with bacon and onions, Hawaiian rolls and whatever else we can come up with. Oh and lots of wine and mixed drinks, LOL
