Carnival Row in a old London style city. .
Mythical creatures mixed in with Jack the Ripper type times.
Finding the first season very interesting and enjoyable .
Worth a glimpse if you are into this Fantasy, Mystery, Thriller.

You can download it LD from either Pirate Bay or Limetorrents there are other sites but I only use those 2.

The first episode is a bit plodding, but I'll give episode two a try and see if it's worth continuing.

I have all eight episodes but haven't got round to watching it yet. To be honest am not a big fan of films with mythical creatures but we shall see.

I've watched episodes 2 and 3 now, and after a slow start the story is coming together. In my opinion episode 3 should have been episode 1, really. It gives some much-needed background to the two main characters as well as to the war that took place seven years ago.

I'll stick with it for now, since there isn't much else that interests me on TV anyway at the moment.

Having just watched the first episode on Amazon, I don't think I'll be watching another. A more blatant way of highlighting the trials of trafficked and illegal modern day immigrants getting into this country and the hardships they have to put up with I've yet to see. They even allude to their (the immigrant's home countries) being invaded by foreigners hence their reasons to escape.

And another thing, why has the leading female character got an Irish accent?
