How appalling that these under qualified chancers have been giving lockdown release advice to the Government, without consulting “experts” such as Keir Starmer, Nicola Sturgeon, Piers Morgan, Laura Kunesberk and Karen on Facebook. 🤔

Re: Covid advice.

I thought Scotland, Wales and NI had their own scientific advisers. They run their healthcare systems separately from England and have different approaches. So they are also receiving expert advice for their area.

Whatever the politics it is a little strange don't you think that Nicola Sturgeon has to find out the approach England is taking from the media rather than from Westminster directly?

Other than the two individuals listed, do we know the current membership of SAGE? It's all well and good that we have qualified scientists running the country but we do seem to be doing the hokey cokey. So whoever is controlling the way information is managed and coordinating guidance for specific information to employers, employees, small businesses, the public, regional local authorities and other bodies must be missing in action. Because it's a shambles and nobody seems to be checking the boxes before releasing official communications. Corrections of corrections of corrections....

it has become clear as to why, during WW2, all significant communications, to the public, had to be controlled.

I remember my parents saying that they were unhappy that there was very little information about what was going on.

At last I know why!

Why does she need to find out what steps England is taking?

Scotland has a devolved parliament with its own health system and is autonomous, Sturgeon can make her own decisions or is it to deflect blame at Westminster in the event that something goes catastrophically wrong with their Covid-19 strategy?

Incidentally, the death rate from Coronavirus in Scotland is the highest in the UK.

That expert advice cannot be much better than yours or mine, since they don't believe it themselves. Neil ferguson gave his, the government followed it, and he broke it to satisfy his mistress.

Her chief medical advisor had to resign because she broke the lockdown rules and visited her second home with family members twice.

Excellent post Barry. Even if it isn't your own work, it's still a bloody great find. Stolen to forward elsewhere.
