I sorta wondered why there was such a brouhaha about DC having done what any sensible family man would have done and in a way that didn't actually contradict the letter (or spirit) of the Lockdown especially as so many other MP's were doing the same sort of thing.

Now all has become clear and it's bloody disgusting.

It's all about thwarting BREXIT.

Cop this. A summary of a Bill posted on the UK Parliament website states one has been put forward in an attempt to push through a transition time extension.

"A Bill to require Her Majesty's Government to seek a two-year extension to the implementation period under Article 132 of the Withdrawal Agreement; to repeal the -prohibition on agreeing to such an extension under section 33 of the European Union (Withdrawal Agreement) Act 2000, and for connected purposes." (Copied from today's Daily Mail)

So in this very obviously orchestrated underhand campaign by those opposed to BREXIT by undermining BoJo and inciting a number of MP's to withdraw support for the government in spite of having the Conservative whip as well as cause public outrage the intent has been to delay the final end of our connection with the awful EU presumably in the expectation that Article 50 will be rescinded at the end of the 2 year extension out of sheer boredom.

As I said - now it all makes sense. Pigs.

Exactly AT its rich remainers that have been attacking Cummings to destabilise Brexit. The SNP, Greens, Lib Dems have all been talking to Barnier to try and screw our democracy again


Utter bastards ! There should be a full investigation into this but Fortunately, Boris told Barnier to go poke his extension yesterday so the little plot failed miserably and there's nothing they can do now.

This has been doing the rounds on Twitter for the last couple of days. Scheming civil servants waiting until Johnson and Cummings were incapacitated and then when Cummings returned, he overturned their plotting and got Brexit back on track. The Covid-19 virus is being used as an excuse to divert attention to what's really going on.

It's no coincidence that the Tory MPs shouting for Cummings' sacking are all Remainers. These backstabbers should be expelled from the party - If it wasn't for Boris and his overwhelming majority, they wouldn't have a job in the first place.

By directly contacting the opposition parties, Barnier is guilty of meddling in the internal affairs of a Sovereign State because we have already left the EU (even Solasch can't deny this).

All the EU wants is more UK money. That is and has always been the only reason.

The EU is attempting to use CV19 to score political advantages like our Liebour Party, et al.

Just wait and see what Boris does when he flies to Brussels with Frosty next month.

Does anyone watch JEFF TAYLOR on YouTube?
He comments on current affairs, often often on things that go unreported on BBC, SKY etc.

He made a video about this a day or two ago
His slant is that this was a deal cooked up between the EU and Remainers -

The EU would request the full 2 year extension in the first place, to give the impression that this was not the British Government's idea

But then we - ie the Remainers - would wring their hands and say -
Oh dear we've realised that we're in a worse state than we expected after Covid 19 and need the support of the EU, so we'd better accept their offer

The Lefty - Liberal - Remainers are still smarting from the drubbing they received in the 2019 election, and DC's action in thwarting their treachery simply adds fuel to their attempts to exact their Remainer Revenge

This is interesting. Keir Sarmer says that he doesn't want to extend the transition period and will commit to the 31st December deadline.

Well he would wouldn't be? If a sniff of support for the delay and subsequent cancellation of Article 50 was to be linked to him at this point the cat would be out of the bag. He has to be able to play the "not me guv" card.

It's got Socialist grease smearing all over it which in itself would put most anti-Brexit Conservative MP's rein in support for any delay

Never forget that when dealing with Socialists one is dealing with sleaze balls.

Time for cancellation of article 50 has passed. The UK left the EU. To return to the EU you have to follow article 49, just like any other developing country.

Why prolong the transition period? Please, I hope boris is steadfast and refuses to request it. The brits need to learn a lesson, so the sooner the trade negotiations break down, the better.

Of course, the british economy goes tits up after the transition. Who benefits? Yep, labour.
