Where did that come from I get forgiving yourself for mistakes... moving on etc.. just didn't get the link to cars..

Yes I have been suckered more than once at the sight of a beautiful body, late 70s I fell in love with a canary yellow Ford Escort Mexico, lovely gleaming paintwork, shiny Rostyle alloy wheels, the seller told me it just needed a bit of welding underneath, every time a bit of corrosion was cut out, a bit more was found, ended up replacing the whole floor pan. Then there was the gorgeous Lancia Fulvia with the metal flake paint job, it shone in all the colours of the rainbow at night time, pity the inner wings decided to part company with the suspension, I think I have always let my heart rule my head.

Re: I can never forgive myself for.............

well my JX whatever was immaculate [unlike my bank account] - sea green in color; real leather [as not in imitation] upholstery; real walnut paneling on the dashboard and one elderly lady owner who nevertheless had raced her on "HK hill races" so her engine had been thrashed a bit. Only problem was the rear storage - a bit small for a family of four! - oh and petrol consumption - a tad too high for a family of four! but I think I've gotten over it now! boh hoh boh hoh!

Realized today that I do regret not having kept up piano lessons. Then told myself I can always start again... why not?
