For and Against
I can't stand much more doom and gloom on here today, so I thought I'd tell you about a few nice advantages of old age just to cheer you all up:1. You can still get that thrill of the roller coaster - just by using the lift.
2. You get to ride at top speed in ambulances.
3. You can save time by leaving your teeth to clean in a jar by your bedside while you sleep.
4. There will be no need to observe dining etiquette anymore, as slurping and burping will be silently tolerated.
Before you get too excited though, think about a few disadvantages too:
1. Be vigilant when you go out.
You can often find yourself on the opposite of the road due to over-zealous boy scouts.
2. You may wake up in a panic when you see your wig and teeth by the bed, thinking you are having an out of body experience.
3. There won't be any older generation to blame everything on to.
4. If you play knock the door and run away - you are much more likely to get caught.
Enjoy your evening folks.

For:1. You get to enjoy senior discounts
2. You get to ride on a bus for free (we when it safe to ride a bus that is)
3. No need to worry about being kidnapped
4. (women) don't have to feign a headache anymore
5. People accept it when you say you forgot
Your post reminded me of something I read a long time ago and it made me laugh. Hope you get a chuckle out of it too.
At age 4, success means not peeing in your pants
At age 12, success means having friends
At age 17, success means having a driver's licence
At age 25, success means having sex
At age 35, success means having money
At age 45, success means having money
At age 55, success means having sex
At age 65, success means having a driver's licence
At age 75, success means having friends
At age 85, success means not peeing in your pants.
Not in our house leastways.
