Forgiveness..

We had a Revenge thread, so maybe a forgiving one be interesting.

So would you give a second chance, forgive and forget if your partner, your daughter/sons partner was carrying on.

Could you forgive someone who broke into your house.

Could you forgive someone who murdered a loved one.

I know of friends who have been given a second chance by their partners, and years later still together in a happy/loving relationship.

Depending on what they done, sometimes a second chance benefits all concerned

Re: Forgiveness..

Forgiveness? Never. Just let a thing ride and mark a card? Very often.

If that means being unfaithful - NO!

I know I am a hypocrite... But no way could I forgive anyone cheating on my daughter...... even if she did, I could only at best pretend through gritted teeth.

But if it were my daughter that cheated... we all make mistakes

Re: Forgiveness..

It depends on the circumstances, rather than forgive it can be prudent to set wrongs aside rather than to dwell on them and damage your own well being .
