Re: Coronavirus: Packed beer garden at Stone outbreak pub

Its strange, not that many people (in recent years) would cram into a Pub under normal conditions.

4 more pubs are set to voluntarily close following an outbreak of coronavirus cases in a town.

16 people have tested positive after cases had been linked to the Crown and Anchor, Stone, between 16-18 July, Staffordshire County Council say.

Cases have been identified in Stone, Stafford, Stoke-on-Trent, Newcastle-under-Lyme and the Moorlands.
There'll be more .....

Custodio Pinto, of the Crown and Anchor in Stone, said he regretted being "complacent" in enforcing the regulations with customers.
In a message on Facebook, Mr Pinto said he wanted to express his "deepest regret for all the anguish, disruption and sadness" following what happened.

"On July 18, I accept that I was simply not strong enough in enforcing the Government's COVID-19 secure rules, despite detailed preparation according to their guidelines," he said.

Twenty-two people linked to the pub tested positive for Covid-19.
Let's hope that no-one dies ..... !

The situation in Aberdeen is really serious:
A further 30 cases are being investigated to see if they are linked, while 233 contacts have been traced.

Two Aberdeen FC players have tested positive for Covid-19 and a further six players who have been in close proximity to them are self-isolating.

More than 228,000 people living in the city have been told they should not enter each other's homes or travel more than five miles for leisure - and should not go on holiday.

The cluster has been linked to pubs and restaurants in the city - which have all been told to close for at least seven days as part of the local lockdown measures.

The covid19 cluster in Aberdeen has now risen to 101. The First Minister is furious with the conduct of some AFC players.
