I had a few sheep when I was younger.
This particular one, Penny, was jet black as a lamb.
I bottle reared from tiny, so she was very tame.

She was such a character, and would jump in my old van and come out with me and the dogs if I didn't stop her.
She hated being left behind.

The dog I had managed to get off an ignorant pig who was going to shoot him.
That lovely loyal dog ended up living with me for 14 years and was never far from me, brilliant little fella, a Goldie/Collie cross.

(Apologies if I've gone off topic a bit).
Not off topic at all... very relevant.
It explains a lot... I had been wondering why the sheep had been so docile, although heat stroke could explain it.

By the way, I never intended the thread to be racist ; by 'sheep jokes' I meant puns about sheep. See #4

Am extremely sorry if I have caused offence. It really wasn't my intention. I thought the policeman was very kind to look after the distressed sheep.

Don't apologise Pyxell, anything can happen when you put "PEN" to paper.

Don't worry about it Pyxell. They don't like it up 'em.

Mind you..
She is a dead ringer for second cousin Myfanwy now that I've looked more closely ...
And the sore leg... It's a family trait..
