So unusual-it is almost creepy! Looks almost as if the lamppost could pop the cloud.

Where is that one Mart? Most of my posts on this forum are from the Lake District.

It was Lake Windermere Toners. I can't remember exactly where the photo was taken from but we went on a boat trip and I think it will have been taken from somewhere on the lake rather than the shore.

I cropped the last photo to major on the sky but here is the full photo that might help with recognising the view.

The photo was taken on the coast at Worthing. The clouds were like that just before heavy rain. I was amazed by them too.

The sky was so overcast and gloomy that (early) evening, it looked like it was going the end of life as we knew it.
