Hi Bob - so pleased I found this thread - I love cheetahs.... Watch 'all' docus on them - and I can say for sure the photos are 'not' doctored.
Another story of a lioness, who was excluded from the pride. She took the snub badly and just would not eat! the locals threw food to her but she walked away. She soon became skin and bone and came across a baby gazelle who had lost her mother, she tried to nurture the baby, they were inseperable. Then, a lion pounced on the baby and the cries of the lioness were heartbreaking, she died soon after. The locals named her 'Keikai' - gift of god...saw this docu years ago - will never forget.....
