Just got back from dropping my son off. Started to snow as I got back near home down some of the unlit country roads the headlights were picking up the snowflakes flying towards my car. I stopped off at one of my locals for a couple of pints sitting in front of an open log fire roaring in the bar that has a mesmerising effect as the heat from the fire warms you up, all your worries seem to slip away. Tomorrow is another day.
I have just taken Chloe for her last walk and it is horrible outside , not snow but sleet which stings the skin and bitterly cold .
I feel sorry for those who are sleeping rough tonight...

Started to sleet here around 07.30 this morning. Within 15 minutes had turned to snow and is still snowing now, however because of the torrential rain we had all day yesterday and through the night, the ground is too wet for it to lay.
