Re: Giving up fools

What was a fool in the Bible? Largely from the book of Proverbs, there are many references to what a fool was in the Bible. One of the most well known of these Proverbs quotes is from chapter 18, verse 2: "A fool takes no pleasure in understanding, but only in expressing his opinion." These descriptors of a fool provide great examples of what to avoid in the pursuit of wisdom and happiness. Discover more of the scripture quotes about what made a fool in the Bible verses below!

Matthew 5:22

22 But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to a brother or sister, ‘Raca,’ is answerable to the court. And anyone who says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of hell.
