Personally, I think a few blokes got into a rocket and went to the Moon. A couple of them landed on the surface and walked around for a while. Then they left the surface and went back to the main capsule. Then they all came back to Earth again.

I think going on a trip to the Moon and seeing the views they did first-hand, might alter the mind regarding God, the Universe and other things.

But being closer to God? What really happened is, when they splashed down in the sea, they were closer to Cod,

Yes Gumbud, they do get closer to God, didn't one of them form a new religion when he came back from space (I always thought he was a spaceman anyway) and called it 'The Moonies'.

NO.... nobody's been to the moon and NASA must think we're all idiots/imbeciles or total numpties to believe this outragious assumption.
