Not sure about that Meg, I appreciate quails eggs are supposed to be very delicate, (never had them sorry, so not sure). Could be worth putting just one in the jamjar and try the shaking method. It would be brilliant if it did work, because whenever I watch people on TV trying to delicately peel them, they look so hard to do. Have a go Meg, you only risk breaking one egg! and just think - if it works - how helpful it will always be for you.
