Never heard of Berry until today, the noise he made, which he considered music, was HORRIBLE!

Chuck berry,
Influenced so many, was arguably the father of rock n roll, insisted on being paid in cash for all his gigs, will be sadly missed, RIP

I have heard many singers and musicians say CB greatly influenced them and their music .

Can't say I ever rated him, he was no musician, no great singer ... no great talent !
Famous only because of one haunting guitar riff that was ever present in all his songs.
