Ah, to be fair, she did arch or rub her back the other day! The first alert the viewer had that something was amiss. Maybe we were led to believe she had been overdoing it and was relieving stiff muscles?

The soaps like to shock us with surprises, like Holly's death, so obviously this was their next one...a surprise birth. Social media thoughts are that she said it was Pete's, just to get Emma to help, but that it is Cain's.

Yes you are right about Adumb!! I will be glad when he eventually leaves, however he goes. Not a moment too soon.

I never knew Moira was pregnant either. When she said to Emma she was pregnant I thought she was just saying that so that she could rescue her from the fire.

Moira left hospital barely able to walk but made it home presumably with no money for a taxi. Where did Emma get the nurse's uniform and ID from, she worked in the GP's surgery, not the hospital. When the vicar discovered the baby in the church, where had Emma's letter gone?

To be fair the baby was unknown to moira too so I'm not feeling bad I didn't realise she was pregnant.

Yes, he and Tracey (who I usually don't like...remember how she tried to fleece Sam in the early days) got me going.

What I don't understand is:

Why did the fire start?
Why did Fynn think his Mum would be in the woods, not in church, at the farm, at Laurel's?
How she got clean, changed clothes, nurses uniform etc. without going home?
Why Victoria just blurted out to Pete and everyone else about Pete being the father?(I think it will turn out to be Cain's)

I'm going to have to watch it all again on the omnibus to see if I missed something
A couple of times it looked like bits had been cut out!

You didn't miss anything, TessA! All these anomalies have been picked up by the viewers, and their comments are scathing on FB, either on Emmerdale's own post, or ED's (Entertainment Daily).

Yes I noticed them too but the story was so good I forgave them the "mistakes".
