I can't sleep without a chihuahua, got used to a cuddly Labrador but it's a snoring chi I miss if they are not here.

I agree with Tarantula!

Regarding sleep.
Bedroom door open with just a little light on in the hallway, so I can see my way to the loo in the middle of the night.
All windows shut and locked though.

Mine is closed,

I have three cats and I love them dearly but sharing the bed with them is a step too far. I would end up clinging to the edge with them laid out like lettuce hogging the bed... they already think they own the house and I just happen to live with them!

Nope the door stays closed

Nonsense - if the animals are properly cared for - which mine are - they pose no danger to me and the cats always insist I bathe before bedtime - so I pose no threat to them!

They each have their place at the foot of the bed.
