Had to Laugh

My friend asked me how the lunch for my birthday went at our coffee morning ,I told him it was boring as we were just sitting around waiting for the lunch to be ready, instead of chit chat we usually have. Well he said "Y ou could have taken your knitting " I had to laugh as were all OAPs & Im not sure wed be able to make much between us
