Chocolate

I'm poorly with the usual Autumn sinusitis so I wanted to mollycoddle myself and bought some Green and Blacks chocolate with ginger. Never had it before.

I thought dark chocolate was supposed to be good for us.
It's given me stomach ache

Have you got a favourite choccie bar?

Re: Chocolate

Poor you, Pesta. Do your sinuses make you have ear ache as well?

Regarding the chocolate, I'm afraid I shall probably let the side down here Pesta, cos I must be one of the few women who are not that keen on choccies. Haven't got a sweet tooth I suppose.
I might venture to a bit of KitKat on rare occasions, but that's about as exciting as it gets here.

Ear ache, headache, chest, nose, eyes, brain dead...you name it

Must admit I'm not usually a sweet person (no comments from anyone or you're dead)...but I do get drooling moments for something.

I grew up without sweets but since I've had problems with foods the Free From foodstuffs in supermarkets seem to sell more sweet things, and I fell for it.

Re: Chocolate

I am not a great lover of chocolate and rarely eat it these days, I prefer nuts or somthing savory

I find dark chocolate bitter and milk sickly sweet, I used to love it so perhaps it's an age related taste thing

Re: Chocolate

I can eat chocolate for England. What happened to Rum & Raisin chocolate? I used to enjoy that too. Old Jamaica I think it was called.

Yes I like nuts Meg. I always used to take some to work as snacks, along with my banana and kiwi fruits.
Those were the healthy days

My favourite used to be Lindt with Cognac but not many places stock it these days...
