This thread reminded me of the 'gurning' competitions held many years' ago. People competed against each other to make the ugliest face. Weird maybe but a quick search found these are still held, see BBC News link and separate video below:

Someone once asked Margaret Thatcher to enter one of these competitions, she famously said "The Lady's not for Gurning".

Art , when I see a picture of myself I can't believe I look so awful . No matter how I try to smile , laugh or whatever my face looks awful .

Yet worse of all friends tell me it's a nice picture it's you!

I hate having my pic taken, Susan as well.
I look old & wrinkled in all. My Daughter loves taking candid pics of me & they are all awful & she won't delete them.
