This is ridiculous it’s a brick built unclad block .
The buildings' insurance should be covered by the service charge which is set by the Management Company or managing agent. It's up to the company or agent to negotiate with the insurance company regarding premiums. If necessary even to the point of getting a fire safety check carried out.
