Muddy, l just couldn’t take it. As a teenager, l read, ‘The Eichmann Trial’ which really disturbed me and l can never forget.
To watch it, never mind in colour, would destroy me. The book was the worst, harrowing thing l ever read.

Three of my children and my grandson visited Auschwitz, two years ago and were dreadfully affected by it.

It’s not ghoulish to remember people .
The people speaking on it were child survivors .
They want their stories told before they die .
