Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Another horrible dark, dank and cold day - ugh! Did some shopping this morning and then took the youngest grandson up to the farm where the family were scanning the hill ewes. The guy who does this is amazing - he's shown me several times how to "see" the lambs on the screen - but I have to confess I can only ever find a set of ribs occasionally! (He has been doing it - all over the world - for 20 years, so he should be an expert by now. Then it was a couple of hours watching the bowls competition on TV - and that's it for today.

A wet and chilly one
My granddaughter who lives in Liverpool came down with partner and new baby Harrison . It was great to see them all but 7 adults and baby was a bit too much for my little flat lol. Baby is a beauty
Have a good one xxx

Getting on to this site is such a pain. It takes me back to August, and then I have to log in everytime to post. Never used to be like this, don't know why it changed.

Hectic day yesterday. Went to Church, then out to lunch with DIL'S family, most of whom I haven't seen for yonks, so all the children had shot up! and then finished up at a quiz in the Golf Club. Quite glad to be quiet today, though the weather is not v nice and feeling quite chilly. District Nurse has just told me that snow is forecast for this evening!

Lovely day here - just as well as I have had to let the oil-fired cooker out so that Steve (engineer) could minister to its needs. (Throws a wobbly every 6 months or so and needs to have its innards cleaned).

Have had to fire up the electric oven to cook liver and bacon casserole.
