Gay marriage can lead to a decadent society?

Or so one of our ozzie pollies thinks so - he is also considered a bit of a 'dickhead' - appropriate name actually.

this is what extreme conservatism causes - dickhead disease!

is Britain; Ireland and USA now becoming more decadent?

Makes me laugh about gays and what they will do to society.
A good example was the Romans. Most of them were gay
especially the soldiers.
Haven't seen many gays nowadays waving their swords and
butchering people. Just pink and flowers.
Let them love who they want as long as they are happy.

Much propounding of Principle seems to go on of late, folks should be free to do as they see fit, trouble seems to start when they want a certificate for doing so.Imo.

Is it any more decadent now than ever, or is it just that communication is instant and so we hear about it constantly?

weren't past societies much more decadent - Greeks; Romans; Egyptians etc etc - I think we often imagine ourselves as "terrible" and forget the past - even earlier century England I think was so

Possibly but shouldn't we be aiming higher not devolving to be like them ?

As long as gay marriage is not compulsory; i'd rather be shagged by a good man than a woman.
