Michael Barrymore

I read in the paper this morning he is planning to sue the police for wrongful arrest, over the death of Stuart Lubbock.
I used to like him back in the day, but now he is never heard of.
It just all seemed a bit fishy and horrible for the family of the dead chap as I don"t think they ever really got justice .

Re: Michael Barrymore

Something very odd went on that night. The lad Stuart was an innocent lad who got invited to a party at a celebrities house. Not saying Barry more was involved in the lads death but no doubt in my mind the boy was abused and died

Barry more , panicked and left the building.

Don't like him, don't trust him

I'm a fan of Michael - he was a great entertainer and I miss him
Its tragic what happened that night - for the boy, his family and for Michael .........

Hell; like a lot of other fallen celebrities, Harris, Saville and Travis etc, Barrymore always looked a Hinky and repellent to me. I think his problem is he's desperately impecunious and he needs the cash.

Re: Michael Barrymore

The way the father of the dead man has behaved I don't blame him for this, the police could not prove a case, they should therefore have protected him from the family of the man. What happened that day we will never know now but calling the dead man innocent is odd when he was part of a drug fuelled party.

Re: Michael Barrymore

There was more went on that night than meets the eye but from the police point of view proving it is another matter. When alcohol and drugs are flowing I would think that getting to the truth is a difficult business.

Re: Michael Barrymore

Simple, if he was wrongfully arrested then he has every right to sue the police the same as anyone else.
