Exactly what I was wondering, although some of his ideas will help people if we can find enough jobs for them of course. No one budget can do it all but if he carries on like this it might help more than it harms.

I have long said we need to stop tax credits etc supporting businesses, he seems to think the same.

The trouble is the Tories don't have an effective opposition. Labour made such a mess of things the last time they found themselves unelectable and no inspirational leader in sight.

Watched 2 businesses last night - filmed months ago
Both are struggling to pay utility bills
One was a small restaurant. He said his usual customers who would come in once a week for a meal now, come once every 6 months because they just can't afford it.
Small businesses will not be able to take the load the Government are handing them, so business will close or they will take on illegals - we will see if his plan works - I will never forgive the bedroom tax so would never 'turn'

But there are companies (many) who make money enough to pay huge bonuses to the upper echelons but keep their workers on £6.50 an hour topped up with tax credits etc. Which cannot be right.

Of course - but is it right to pass the buck to so many small businesses
He goes on about the economy but he needs to help the smaller companies too

He has though as he has cut the tax payable by them to offset the rises in costs. He seems to believe and I have no reason yet to doubt him that companies won't be worse off.

I hope that is the case
If it works out, great - I guess I'm just not so optimistic
