Electoral Commission web site

I intend to take my postal vote papers to my local polling station tomorrow to ensure that it reaches the appropriate people. There has been talk of a postal strike and, more worrying, the possibility of postal vote papers going astray.

Consequently, I searched for the address of our local polling station, logically going first to the Electoral Commission web site. Having completed all my details, including post code, I received the unhelpful response that "my local polling station address is on your polling card". It isn't!

What is the point of this government QUANGO?

I later found a more helpful site which not only gave the appropriate address AND a helpful map.
The Labour Party web site!
