Re: Death Of Democracy

Hi

There is another side to this.

NI voted Remain, but Boris is relying on the DUP for Leave.

Well if we are prevented from leaving the EU by this corrupt establishment then I'm afraid the statement "our votes don't count" will be entirely true. There will be no point in anyone ever voting again.

The problem is you won't actually have a vote at all if we Remain in the EU. Again people need to read the Lisbon Treaty which our corrupt politicians like BLiar signed us up to.

It states very clearly that the only people who can express the will of citizens in the EU new world, are European Level Parties. That means that when they are finally ready to admit that Westminister is redundant that our UK political parties will be disbanded. You won't be able to vote Conservative or Labour or Lib Dem. None of that will exist.

You will have to vote for the European Federal Alliance or some other EU level party.

If you think that kind of vote is going to help you shape laws and events in Britain then good luck to you.

We will also eventually be dragged into the Eurozone and be forced to accept the Euro. EU stooge BLiar tried his level best to get us in, telling the nation that it would be terrible not to take the Euro and not in the national interest. It was of course total BS and we've all seen since how fortunate we are to have refused to adopt the Euro. But look at the state of our EU infested parliament and how they are all clearly working for the EU and not for the UK people and you can see clearly that eventually they will put us in the Euro.

We simply have to wake up to all these realities and get the hell out of the EU as fast as humanly possible.

NO we won't be dragged into the Euro. We had an indefinite exemption for that. The fact is that nobody can force us to do anything. This appears to be lost on most.

I see you are still peddling the fake news Lisbon Treaty fairy tales

You tell people to read the Lisbon Treaty and yet you clearly have either not read it yourself, do not understand it or more likely you are deliberately spreading fake news with scaremongering agenda

Not true they have said if we stay we will be required to join all the things we at this moment have vetoes against. We could even be using the euro within a couple of years.

They have said?

I'm not sure who "they" are but we certainly won't be dragged into the euro or schengen. If we don't leave then the terms of membership won't change. We will still have to trade with the eu after leaving so we are more likely to be using the euro as a second currency in that scenario. People who see us free of eu shackles after leaving will be disappointed. That's why it waa never a good idea because on the outside we just end up with a poorer deal.

We would under QMV that's why national vetoes are being removed.

EU wants end to member state veto on tax*

Proposed by juncker in januari this year, in view of upcoming elections put in the freezer. So that veto power still exists, but for how long?

That holds true for new members. They won't have opt outs on euro or schengen. As long as the UK remains a member they keep these opt outs.
However, if you leave and want to return, which by all signals will happen, the rebate denial, euro and schengen are the new reality.
