Re: Judgement Day for Bercow
Having watched the whole of the Election Debate, followed by the prorogation of Parliament, I have never seen or heard anything so disgusting, theatrical, with futile points, protests and complete disregard for anything in such an official and serious capacity.
The whole of the debate had the public in the gallery, and John Bercow played 100% to the crowd, constantly looking up at them and trying to make an impression by making himself look a bigger prat than usual.
Speeches, were as repetitious as every PMQ's of the last three and a half years. The shouting and noise was deafening at times.
The Government lost the vote for an election in October.
Black Rod came to take them through to the HoL for prorogation , when Black Rod was shouted over we couldn't hear what she said, a bit of a scuffle broke out with protestors holding up signs around John Bercow. He sat like King Rat, and then rose to give another lecture and shouting it out to MP's in general. At the same time he announced that if MP's didn't wish to attend they did not need to. Knowing full well what he was inciting.
With that, he was led by Black Rod into the House of Lords, followed by the Tory members and where the Tory Lords were mostly not there and just a handful of others to make the required numbers.
Labour, SNP, Lib Dems, Greens, MP's refused to go into the HoL , and sat tight on their benches
Bercow continued to focus on the cameras watching him , and pulling silly squishy faces for the benefit of.
Whilst that was going on apparently the SNP were singing a medley of national songs, back in the Commons
The ceremony complete, they were all taken back to the Commons, where the Tories (we think under instruction from JRM) did not return to the chamber.
SO a final couple of words from Bercow, who was by this point a bit bemused as to why the Tories had not returned, cut his talk very short and then all the protesting parties gave him a massive applause, and queued up to shake his hand (tradition) with hugs and kisses and slobber all over the Labour MP's (not tradition) !! At that point I turned the tele off.
I cannot believe the whole disgusting behaviour of the people who should be representing the people of this country, and to think we vote for them .
No, never again.
They are simply now taking the activist/protestors agenda off the streets and into the place where so many respected great men and women passed through in a decent adult manner acting on behalf of the people in an orderly way, It is that procedure that our politicians should be following.
Unfortunately , the rogue political parties and MP's have now shown their true colours, and their intentions are as devious as each other in the hope of turning over the British public because THEY don't want to follow the democratic referendum. To say they do, is lying so the pointing fingers are facing in all directions.
Completely disgusted and I think it's time to take the cameras and broadcasts out of the commons, they might just get something done instead of making every time a party political issue by trying to score brownie points and calling each other names whilst the rest of the rabble jeer and laugh.
Goodnight.
