I have never seen it, the original or the latest but we will be watching the film. Mind you any signs of an animal in distress and Mrs LD will switch off.

Watched it on catch-up last night - a happy ending for some but very sad and moving for others. I'm hoping for a new series.

Re: Christmas All Creatures Great And Small

Oh, how much l love this series. I don’t want each episode to end.
I love James but l absolutely love Tristram in this series, he is so funny. Mrs Hall the housekeeper actress, is such a good actress. I was nearly crying with her in the church as her son hadn’t turned up.

I just feel the whole series has given the feel good factor and is beautifully filmed in a lovely area. Truly wonderful.

Please Channel 5, do make another series...

I agree. A nice simple story, no jumping backwards and forwards in time and no CGI. I enjoyed it.

Delightful how he got the young boy to explain the donkey had eaten mistletoe.

Re: Christmas All Creatures Great And Small

Just watching it now on catch-up.

When Marge first looked it up she found it had to be paid for on HD.
Not having any of that, I looked further and found it for free!
Yes, I know. Some would say that I'm tight-fisted.

I think you know from my various threads, JBR that l subscribe to Sky, but it’s just the basic subscription.
So when, l use Catch Up to record something l’ve missed, it states l don’t pay the subscription to record the HD programme, so l scroll down to SD and it allows me to record it.
