When common sense returns to this sad country, perhaps not even during my lifetime, we can regain our sense of innocent humour.
If young people today want to punish themselves in the hope of cleansing their perceived sins, that's fine by me. I couldn't care less if they prefer to be miserable throughout their lives.

Ironically, the "blackface" in the B&W shows was actually "redface" - apparently, the latter 'registered' better on the old technology .....
