Good morning everybody. I was at Carsington Water yesterday Alan. We did the walk from there to Hognaston village. It was lovely even though we did get lost.
Today we've got baby Josh all day & picking his sister up from school at 3.30 so the day revolves around them.

Hi Carol, we had an evening meal at the Red Lion there while we were in Derbyshire. Not really my sort of pub, a little too basic for me.

Morning all.

Got the day to myself again so taking it easy. Watched a bit of telly in bed after waking, took a cuppa and tablets back with me.

Just finishing breakfast and thinking how to spend my day. Didn't get round to gardening yesterday and I'm on trading shed relief tomorrow, so might get over there today.

I tell you what: being retired is exhausting, deciding what to do!

Good morning fellow members and a beautiful morning strangely warm for late September.

Just watered the beans which are still producing prolifically and about to do some cleaning. I do wish the house would stay clean once it is done.

Good morning all.

Have been to the Hospital at 8.30am this morning for an Ultra Scan on my Spleen, as I have an enlarged spleen.

Nice and sunny here.

buenas dias all. Cloudy, breezy and much cooler right now. Our security man says there is a big storm coming after 3 p.m. ! I hope it isnīt too bad, itīs our little local townīs fiesta week, it would be such a shame if it "rained on their parade", they go to so much trouble with these events.
