What Happened?
First I'm a kid playing with my friends or dog, then a teenager wishing I was married, then newly married with many hopes, then buying 1st home excited & scared, then second home & hopefully permanent home, then suddenly I'm looking at 52 in November & wondering"what happened?"

at 52 you are in your prime so enjoy each day. I wish I was looking at 52 and not seeing 70 looming on the horizon 
.Still I can't grumble, I have led a number of different lives while many people like my sister have stayed in the same place and done very little.

Good for you Meg. It makes me feel good when certain people I read about are still going strong in their 60's & 70's & still having fun!I'm not really grumbling just a thought as I was thinking about some things I've done in the past that feel like 5-10 years ago! I guess everyone does that.

AC I wouldn't concern yourself with 'what's happened' but rather 'what's going to happen next'.I hated the thought of getting to 60. I just didn't want to be there at all, and took a good look at my life. I changed my personal circumstances and redefined myself. Thanks to some very special people in my life who have given me their love and support I'm happier now than I've been for countless years.
Look back and remember the years you've had, but look forward to the years to come.
