Electric toothbrush.

A few Months ago my wife bought me an electric toothbrush for a present and I find it's about as useful as a tom cats tit. The circular motions do not get into the crevices between your teeth to remove leftover fragments of food, you need an up and down motion for this as we all remember from the ads years ago. Powered circular motion over a number of years will eventually wear down teeth causing damage in the long run, stick to the old brushing method and teeth will last longer. The electric toothbrush goes onto my list of useless inventions, along with the electric pencil sharpener.

Re: Electric toothbrush.

I swear by mine-and I have good teeth. Like so many things it`s a matter of keeping it fully charged and then it`s a matter of a good wrist action.

Funny about electric gizmos-I have never, ever used an electric razor.

I hated the one I had too, bristles too soft!

Re: Electric toothbrush.

I always thought it was better to change the brush regularly. Never seen the point of electric ones - if your teeth are brushed faster it doesn`t make them cleaner.

Re: Electric toothbrush.

New from JML.

The all electric vibro cleaner. This amazing tool has multi heads.

Head one-for that just from the dentist feel -yes your teeth and gums will smile

Head two-ever been let down by dirty finger or toe nails? With `vibro cleaner` you will never feel `dirty` again. Vibro cleaner gets where no conventional nail brush can get

Head three-Yes vibro cleaner has many uses -but for head three please confirm you are over 18.

Re: Electric toothbrush.

I have an electric toothbrush but don't use it very often as I much prefer an ordinary toothbrush.

Everytime I go to the dentist, the hygienist is always promoting the electric toothbrush - I'm very tempted to ask her if she's on commission!

Re: Electric toothbrush.

I've never had one - but have heard good things about those new ones that use 'rays' of some sort to help clean your teeth too. Wonder if they actually 'work' tho.

Re: Electric toothbrush.

I tried one years ago, didn't like it. The regular one suits me just fine.
