Would be nice to have a sibling, merz... my Mom would have been quite surprised though!

It is colder tonight but it is brighter and lighter - Hoorah! If it stays cold for a week+, as forecast, that should mean that sunset will not get any earlier in 2009.

It is nice having siblings Dandysmom now that we're all grown up and not arguing and falling out with each other as we did when we were young Instead of my long-lost twin, you could become my 'surrogate sister' if there is such a thing

It's dull and dark
3pm, yet it's quite 'murky' already
However, as previously noted, this is the last day of the earliest sunsets. A minute extra tomorrow - woo-hoo!

I thought the shortest day was the 22'nd, . . . this sticks in my mind coz it's our wedding anniversary.

Re: Don't be SADD

If you start at the beginning of the thread nero you will see that 21/22 is, indeed, the shortest day, but for the next week all daylight time lost will be at sunrise, not sunset. As I intend to be in my bed whilst that happens, I really don't care what it does in the mornings - just give me those extra afternoon 60 seconds!

I didn't get to enjoy my extra minute yesterday as the sun never appeared! Rain all day, had the lights on.
