Re: Turkey Rage!!!!!!

When on the rare occasion that I am shopping in a supermarket I like to bring a little ray of hope and thrill to my fellow pensioners, whether I know them or not, by dropping a packet of condoms into their trolley. The lady thinks the man has put them there and vice-versa each can share the fleeting thrill of the rekindling of past remembered passions.

On the other hand the thought might be "you'll be lucky" or "on yer bike".

Don't you think this has a lot to do with the way people on Tv conduct themselves, on chat shows, in so called 'drama' series, and most of all the so called 'reality' shows where arguing and swearing is considered a good thing, I am really appauled at the standards shown on Tv so it's not surprising the less educated see it as 'normal'

Re: Turkey Rage!!!!!!

I blame Christmas myself. I always hope that if I wait long enough someone will cancel it one year. Fancy women fighting over meat that is bad. One of the reasons I am so negative about Christmas is that is brings out the worst in a lot of folk. You see greed at this time of year and people trying to out do each other to get the best gifts. Children are encouraged to be greedy as they watch the adults over indulging on food and drink. Then the mood swings of mum, dad, granny, grandpa all hung over and so regretting what they might have said or done.

Personally I can't wait until it is all over and sanity reigns again.

Re: Turkey Rage!!!!!!

I bet they do that about everything in their life. They weren't the least bit embarrassed but everyone around was. Must have got really bad to be escorted out with no sale
