Were you evacuated during WW2 ?
I would love to hear from you,and any tales you have to tell.
I was sent to Cornwall during the war,I spent 2 1/2 years there, and did not see my parents in all that time. I was billeted at first with a very cruel couple their name incidentaly was Mr&Mrs Bastard LOL, When the Mrs died I was sent to live on a farm and they were lovely,but also had the same surname!! the only down side was they slaughtered pigs and the squealing was horrendous,but they gave us kids the pigs bladder to play football with.
I thought this would be typed in red????!!!!
