What a lovely video clip of Xmas Past! Wonder what the people back then would think of us all now and the present children get nowadays!!I remember I got my first China doll when I was 3 years old but preferred playing with the box - and a toy gun!! I still have that doll, a bit sad for wear and tear but still in one piece. Mum saved up for a year to get it from the Baby Linen shop round the corner where we lived in Govan, it was used to advertise baby clothes! It had a crochet green dress and I played with it before Xmas came! (I never believed in Santa Claus
I helped fill my stocking and my big brother's with tangerines, apples, nuts!) Got annuals to read. Brilliant!Many thanks for sharing that video, lovely memories!
