Once got my name and address taken after my final A level exam for being drunk and disorderley and "worrying pigeons" in a park somewhere round the back of Harrods. Oh, the shame

There were quite a few people around with that viewpoint. Very 1950s.

To have a police car outside your house was a real scandal.

Now that did make me laugh, I know of that record and your right Primus, it is criminal and should have never been released.

No I haven’t got a criminal record yet Ffosse, I’ve always managed to steer clear of the law.

I live near one of the main Police stations in Edinburgh - it sits in a lovely Georgian square. I'd imagine the residents there feel quite safe and secure knowing that it is there.
