Cat's eyes for the road
We all know that a chap saw how a cats eyes reflected light at night and had the idea of making reflecting glass to show up a road.
Lucky the cat was not facing the other way or he would have invented the pencil sharpener.

Oldie - but goodie, Realspeed. Have to say I can't remember the last time I saw 'cats eyes' on a road though - they seem to have vanished!

Mind you, as you know cats never have their eyes fully shut, they are too worried they will miss something.
