This is the Norwood Tunnel, bricked up after it's collapse in 1907.
It carried coal and stone from Chesterfield by canal to West Stockwith on the river Trent in it's continuing journey all over the world. The tunnel at 2880 yards long was the longest canal tunnel in britain.....
