My daughter in law ends every phone conversation with 'Love you'

I've noticed it when she's been talking to Ady, her friend, her child or her mum.
She doesn't say it to me though.

Never mind - Tony loves me and tells me.

my husband and I tell each other every day, it is the last thing we always say to each other upon leaving the house or ending a phonecall.

The same with my son, niece and nephew and also my best friend.

This is me, I've always been the same, my Mother was the same.

I don't like the word "Love" because too often it is said without sincerity and is often used in the hope of it helping you get what you want.

It is just a word that means nothing, unless it is said at a time when it is really needed.

When I love somebody, they don't need to hear me say it because my actions will demonstrate it on a daily basis.
