Well I finally finished watching it on catch up. I agree Anna Maxwell Martin was excellent in that role. A very formidable adversary and good that they had a new strong character in the show. I loved the way she smiled and nodded after pointing out a piece of evidence to make Hastings hot under the collar.But overall this season was disappointing relative to the other gripping story lines. I guess they can't really beat the ending with DCI Cotton. There is apparently season 6 planned.
