The jail had been shut then for about four years .
I've been for a tour around Freo jail too. The tiny jail cells scared me out of my wits. I immediately retired from my life of crime.

Well, I started school in 1950 so the century ago was a bit of poetic licence.............
And I've always had an interest in technology.

Thee first patent for the flushing crapper was issued to Alexander Cumming. Even he was before my time......
