I agree Annie.. that's my taste too but It's nice to see colour in rooms as well
I vaguely remember seeing a part of Summer's house in a photo that she'd posted (to show something she had renovated or up-cycled I think)
It was rich and warm in texture and colour
Everything went together so beautifully
It was lush!

Our new house has mostly soft neutral paint colours. Except the entrance hall.

That's me too Annie. It looks stylish and is easy to keep clean. Colour can then be added in splashes such as large artworks.

My son has all white walls,personally,I find them rather boring.

Besoeker,I love that wallpaper,..I once had Laura Ashley paper like that.

I usually decorate every two years,I find clean painted walls,really do make a difference,

Just remembered, we do have wallpaper here in the bathroom




The house is Victorian and has high ceilings so the wallpaper idea was to have a Victorian theme but with a modern twist.

Absolutely bloody gorgeous Dingaling. I've said before when you showed your bedroom that your house and style is just my kind of house and my style. Almost like the character house I left, just wonderful to go to town on and make your mark. I don't half miss it.
