Some good news, for a change!

A four-year-old Shropshire boy who had pioneering treatment in the United States for a rare strain of leukaemia is now cancer free.

"A high-profile campaign to get the family to the US received a £50,000 boost from Simon Cowell and £100,000 from a mystery donor.

"Zac's family claimed he was not eligible for treatment in the UK because his condition did not meet criteria set by the NHS."

What brilliant good news in times of doom and gloom of Brexit and everything else that's not appearing so good these days!

Brilliant news everywhere, but most people want the bad news and the media is happy to oblige.

This is a story because of the celeb connection.

Perhaps and also perhaps because the NHS would not fund treatment here in the UK. All the same though it's good news and that does make quite a change nowadays!

That’s wonderful news, I wish the little boy and his caring parents a long and happy life.
