Broke celebs

John Cleese is complaining that he has very little money left to live on. Therefore he is having to go back out on the road starting with a stand-up routine around Canada. He had to sell his "beloved Bentley" last year also.

Boris Becker was recently in the news for similar reasons, claiming bankruptcy. He's now down to his last five million.

Oh how my heart bleeds.

What planet are these poor deluded people on to ask for our sympathy?

I don't think they are really broke, they are just reaching out, their managers maybe feeling the squeeze though.

Yes,it must be tough being rich and famous,wondering where your next Bentley is coming from.

Maybe if some of these 'Celebs' stopped marrying every five minutes, they wouldn't have to keep coughing up large amounts in divorce settlements.

I remember reading several times about John Cleese moaning and saying his ex wife 'took him to the cleaners.'
I believe he has been married 4 times - so far.

Apart from that, I doubt whether what they call 'broke' is what I would call broke!

Cleese is 79 years old. Why on earth is he bothered about living like a Lord? He should be in his potting shed or completing 1000-piece jigsaws.

Is John Cleese really 79? I remember him in Faulty Towers so funny.. .I'm amazed he can still do stand up. As for being broke...I suppose they get used to a certain life style....poor things.

Boris is a fool and Cleese is a serial wife taker .
They also take him -he must be difficult to live with !

Not everyone is money savi.

UB40 made millions but ended up broke.
